What else can be said. The market in a buyers paradise. The value of homes for those not selling is decreasing on a daily basis and the American Dream of Home Ownership is becomeing a nightmare and who can own based on new mortgage criteria and lack of lending is very selective. The economy, jobs, relocation are all big variables in the Florida housing market. New homes are competing with resales that are 5 years old or less and forclosuees , short sales and increasing inventory is making the price drop and yet harder to buy…unless you are an investor. For an investor…it’s like shooting fish in a barrel. So the investor that should not have been investors before the market crash…or didn’t care about the American Dream of Home Ownership and all it represented and helped cause the current market crisis…are now again benefiting on the downside of the market. Go figure.
